These superb villas are around 20 minutes walk to the nearest shops and restaurants. The centre of Playa Blanca is some 10 minutes further away. They enjoy stunning views to the sea and the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura.

Disabled Facilities

ACCESS FOR DISABLED PERSONS:

Villas Don Pepe have been built in such a way that there are no architectural barriers for handicapped or disabled people and are therefore ideal for wheelchairs. In each villa there is one accessible bedroom (the most well suited and most comfortable). Easy access to the interior and exterior of the villa. It has large passageways and wide doors with wardrobes and safes, all of which are suitable for handicapped persons.

The bathroom has a special shower which can be entered by wheelchair, it also has a special seat with adjustable height to which makes it easier for the disabled to shower. The toilet is a special height and has support bars on either side. The kitchen is large and has a special bar where disabled persons can eat and prepare food comfortably. All kitchen utensils and equipment are stored in low kitchen cupboards. The refrigerator is also accessible. The terrace is totally accessible. It has a barbecue and outside dining area suitable for wheelchair users. From the terrace it is possible to access the main bedroom, the lounge-kitchen and one of the other bedrooms.

NOTE: It should be noted that there may still be some constructional development around Villas Don Pepe and as such not all pathways and pavements are made up to the standard that we would expect in the U.K. Some pavements may not be ideal for use by manual wheelchairs. The price of the villa reflects the current state of development.

Interior: Both these villas are stylishly decorated and finished to a very high standard. The whole villa is exceptionally bright and airy, with several patio doors leading to the large terrace. There is a comfortable seating and dining area, which is open plan to the well-equipped kitchen. From the kitchen there is access to the laundry and clothes drying area. The villa has four bedrooms. The very large master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and doors to the terrace. The master double bedroom and en-suite shower room have been modified to help guests with limited mobility enjoy a comfortable holiday. There are a further three bedrooms and two stylish shower rooms. In addition to the master bedroom, there are two further double bedrooms and a twin room. All the bedrooms are light, airy and furnished with great care. Mosquito nets are on the doors and windows and both villas have newly installed air conditioning to cool down the hotter days. A recently installed Wi-Fi access point enables you to browse the Internet during your stay for no additional charge.

Exterior: From the villa, several patio doors lead out onto the substantial private patio and pool area. There is a wooden pergola which, along with the built-in BBQ and outdoor sink, offers a perfect environment for al-fresco dining. In addition, the villa has an 8m x 3.5m private, fully heated swimming pool which is situated to make the most of the sun through the day. The pool is 1.10m to 1.70m in depth and is accessed via a metal ladder. Ample space around the pool allows guests to soak up the Lanzarote sun and enjoy the spectacular views. A state-of-the-art lighting system illuminates the villas in the evening and allows guests to enjoy the warm Canarian evenings. A newly installed sun terrace roof provides additional outdoor space and superb views.

Amenities: The beautiful harbour of Playa Blanca is only a 15 minute walk away along a newly built seafront promenade. The ferry to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura, leaves from the port in Playa Blanca, almost hourly and makes a lovely excursion. The famous, glorious Papagayo beaches are a fifteen-minute drive, or you can take a boat there from the port.

Services: A weekly cleaning service and linen change is provided. The owner provides a welcome pack containing wine, coffee, tea, water and fruit. The owner will collect a cash, fully refundable, €150 security deposit against breakages on arrival, which will be refunded on the day of departure.

Car Requirements: The location of the villa leads us to recommend that a car is essential. We are able to organise this for you, either from the airport or delivered to the villa.
