Lanzarote - The Island of Dreams

Lanzarote is said to be the most exclusive of the Spanish Islands. The Lanzarote climate is dominated by the North Eastern Trade Winds and the warm Canary Stream, producing glorious summer temperatures all year round.

Attractions include the fabulous beaches, restaurants and bars, old fishing villages and the beautiful scenery of the Timanfaya National Park, to name just a few.

There are numerous organised activities available on the island. We are able to advise you on golf, tennis, diving, wind-surfing as well as various walks that allow you to explore more of the natural habitat of the island.

We can book trips and tours for you and arrange pick up and drop off points. You will find information on these excursions in your villa, or contact us for more details.

If you wish to follow one of the organised walks in the National Park, you will need to book before you come on holiday as spaces are very limited indeed.

Puerto Del Carmen

Puerto del Carmen is the main tourist resort on the island and a town of extremes - with the quaint and peaceful Old Town area with its harbour-side restaurants on one hand and the purpose-built holiday area with its numerous restaurants, shops, bright lights and superb night-life on the other. It really does have something for everyone! You can be close to the bright lights but away from the bustle.

Puerto del Carmen boasts over 3km of golden sand so those wanting a beach holiday will not be disappointed, in addition all our villas have good quality private or shared pools and sunbathing terraces too.

Playa Blanca

This is a tranquil town situated on the southern tip of the island which takes its name from the white sands of its sun-drenched beaches. Like other places on the island, this quiet unspoiled resort has been sympathetically developed so that the centre of the town has retained much of its original fishing village charm. There is a large selection of shops and supermarkets and many excellent restaurants.

Playa Blanca has some superb very shallow beaches which are perfect for small children. In addition, the Papagayo beaches, which are some of the most beautiful in the Canaries, are only a few minutes drive away. Playa Blanca is the quietest, warmest and flattest of the three principle resorts on Lanzarote and is therefore particularly attractive to slightly older visitors and the very youngest.
